  • Board of Commissioners - Special Meeting

    Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the upstairs courtroom of the Historic Camden County Courthouse to consider Ordinance 2017-03-01 for placement of a 60 day Moratorium on Solar Farms in Camden County.

    The public is invited to attend this meeting and make comments to the Board.

    A copy of the Ordinance may be reviewed in the Camden County Planning Office. Substantial changes may be made to the proposed ordinance following the public hearing.

    Camden County Board of Commissioner's have added a closed session to to their monthly meeting schedule to confer with the County Attorney in relation to Economic Development Incentives and Property Acquisition.

    On Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. the Camden County Board of Commissioners will participate in a work session to discuss conceptual plans for the development of I-87.   The session will take place in the Community Room of the Public Library located at 104 Investor's Way in Camden, NC.

  • Board of Commissioners - Closed Session

    The Camden County Board of Commissioners will meet on October 19, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. for the purpose of a Closed Session (pursuant to NC G.S. 143-318.11(a)(6) to discuss a personnel matter.  The meeting will take place in the Historic Courtroom located at 117 NC Highway 343 South. 

  • Board of Commissioners - Information Session / Closed Session

    The Camden County Board of Commissioners will meet on October 26, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. to hold an information session on I-87 and civic center updates.  Following the information session the board will go into Closed Session to discuss contract negotiations, potential litigation and to conduct interviews for the position of County Manager.  The meeting will take place in the Historic Courtroom located at 117 NC Highway 343 South, Camden.

    • Regularly Scheduled Meeting – 10:00 AM, Historic Courtroom
    • Joint Meeting with Camden County Board of Education – 1:00 PM in the Camden County Public Library Community Room; 104 Investor’s Way, Camden.
