Pursuant to NCGS 159-12(b), the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 7:00 PM in the Historic Courthouse located at 117 NC Hwy 343 North in Camden, NC for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Proposed Budget and 2020-2024 Capital Improvement Program, which has been submitted to the Board of Commissioners and filed with the clerk.  A copy of the FY 20-21 Proposed Budget is kept on file for public inspection in the clerk’s office located at 330 East Highway 158 in Camden, NC. and can be accessed here: https://www.camdencountync.gov/news/723-camden-county-proposed-budget-for-fiscal-year-2020-2021.

Camden County citizens who wish to participate in the Public Comment portion of the meeting or the Public Hearings on the Proposed FY 2020-2021 Budget and 2020-2024 Capital Improvement Program, may submit their remarks to the Clerk to the Board via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, June 1st.  Comments will be read aloud and must include the sender’s first/last name and address.

Citizens who wish to appear in-person before the Board to comment during the Public Hearings will be requested to sign in with the staff member located outside the Board Room and will be called upon to enter at the appropriate time.
