The library is hosting a Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 4th from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Draw along with published comic artist Dave McDonald. Participants will learn the ins and outs of making comics, and create their own comic! This program is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council.

This program is free and open to the public. There will also be giveaways of comics, stickers, tattoos and more!

Are you a creative teen looking to express yourself through art? Then this workshop is perfect for you! Starting from scratch with basic bookbinding techniques, this two-day workshop allows you to find your artistic voice!

The dates for this workshop are Wednesday, May 1st & Thursday, May 2nd at 3:30pm. Registration is required. Please note that attendance for BOTH days of the workshop is necessary for a completed product.
