Pursuant to Article 151.2.2.6 of the Camden County Unified Development Ordinance, the Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 7:00 PM or soon thereafter as the agenda will allow. The meeting will be held at the New Camden Library Building in the Board Room located at 118 NC Hwy 343 N. On the agenda for consideration is Ordinance 2022-09-01, a rezoning application (UDO 2022-08-10) from Waverly Sawyer of an approximately 1-acre parcel at 872 NC Hwy 343 N in South Mills Township. The request is for a zoning map amendment from Highway Commercial (HC) to Neighborhood Residential (NR) zoning district.
The meeting will be live streamed to the county website and a copy of the plans and supporting documentation is available at the Camden County Planning Office or from Camden County Website (camdencountync.gov) on the home page.
The public is invited to attend and make comments to the board. After the public hearing any changes may be made to the application.
