    The Camden Public Library Adult Book Club will meet at 3:30 pm. The public is invited to attend.

  • 10:00am  Library Baby Storytime

    Baby Storytime

    This storytime is for ages birth to 2 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required. 

    Join us for Baby Storytime every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, and singing songs!

    There will be time for free play with the library's collection of baby toys at the end of each session.

  • 03:30pm  Library Storytime with a Park Ranger

    Come to the library for a fun and educational storytime with Ranger Katie Sanford from the Dismal Swamp State Park! Ranger Katie will read a story and teach us about some of our local plants and animals. The storytime will be followed with a craft that corresponds with the day's theme.
    This program is free, open to the public, and intended for children ages 4 and up.

    This storytime is for ages 2 to 4 years-old (Must be accompanied by a parent)

    • Free and open to the public. No registration is required.
    Join us for Toddler Storytime every Wednesday at 10:30 AM.
    We will be reading stories, sharing early literacy tips, singing songs and playing games!
    A small craft will be offered at the end of each storytime session.

  • 10:00am - 01:00pm  Family Literacy Festival

    Come to Camden County Public Library for a celebration of early literacy! You will be able to meet all your local literacy agencies and bring home a free children's book!
    We will also be offering:
    ***Storytimes every half hour
    ***Meet and greets with local children's authors
    ***Arts and crafts
    ***Movement activities
    ***Library Card Assistance for Pasquotank and Camden County residents
    ***Food Trucks
    ***Face Painting (with small cash donation)
    This event will take place outside of the library in the lot next door. In the event of bad weather, we will move to the library's community room.
    This event is free, open to the public, and intended for families and children of all ages. It is a collaborative effort between The Villages of Northeast North Carolina, Camden County Public Library, and Pasquotank County Library.
