WASTEWATER
SUPERVISOR
Wastewater Supervisor for Camden County, NC. Under limited
supervision, performs skilled work in the operation, repair
and maintenance of sewer systems, collections systems, & spray
irrigation, pumps, control and alarm systems and operates
motorized equipment used in the repair & maintenance
of sewer systems. Work involves adjustments to equipment
and component rebuilding to ensure properly operating sewer
treatment facilities.
Employee is also responsible for planning
preventive maintenance schedules and maintaining parts
and supply inventories. Employee is exposed to the usual
hazards
and unpleasant working conditions associated with sewer
system operations. Starting Salary: $30,731.

SEWER MAINTENANCE WORKER
Sewer Maintenance Worker for Camden County, NC. Performs
a variety of tasks involving manual work in the maintenance
of equipment and grounds. Equipment maintenance includes
tasks such as minor maintenance. Employee must abide by safety
rules and regulations and use care and accuracy in handling
equipment and tools. Work subjects the employee to outside
environmental conditions, noise, vibration, hazards associated
with maintenance work, fumes chemicals, mists, gases and
oils. Work is assigned daily, and is reviewed by observation
of quality and quantity of work completed and timeliness
of completion. Duties include minor repairs to building and
equipment. Also, mowing and weed eating the Sprayfield Wastewater
Treatment Plant. Starting Salary: $18,937.
