The State of North Carolina's Broadband Infrastructure Office has collected service information for all of N.C. and mapped it for public inspection. Now, they are asking residents to check out the map and confirm or correct the internet service/s offered at that address. This will give the state firm information as they work on a plan to insure the entire state has access to high speed internet by 2020. 'Crowd-sourcing' this information is an innovative way to collect grass roots data about service and publish it for state-wide use.
