The Camden County Budget Committee is soliciting proposals from qualified professional accounting consultants. The selected consultant will provide advice, analysis and recommendations to the Board and Finance Officer to assist in a timely audit process. Consultant support should be proximate to Camden County and be available as needed with ability to attend meetings with committee and/or Finance Officer on an as needed basis.

Bachelor degree with major in accounting, finance or closely related field, CPA required and experience providing advice or service to local government agencies necessary; experience with MUNIS/Tyler software is required; significant experience with government accounting standards; knowledge of county finance administration, principles and practices of county accounting systems and controls, budgeting, procurement and investments and practices of internal and administrative controls; ability to evaluate audit related issues and assist in the role of financial reporting and disclosure.
