Distribution/Collection System Operator This position will install, maintain & repair water/wastewater mains; repair & replace water/wastewater lines & related facilities; install, service & test water/wastewater meters, meter yokes & hydrants. Also, responsible for keeping records of work activities; taking distribution samples; checking chlorine levels; maintain wastewater pump station control panel. C-Distribution & CDL required within 1 year of employment. High School diploma or GED and minimal experience in public works maintenance and construction activities. Starting Salary: $31,672. Juvenile Crime Prevention Council Program Coordinator This position will be responsible for coordinating all Juvenile Crime Prevention (JCPC) Programs. Presently there are 5 JCPC programs. JCPC Programs are all aimed at reducing and preventing juvenile crime. Work requires extensive public contact. Strong ability to work with school aged children that are at-risk for physical abuse and criminal behavior; strong computer skills for grant management and record management; ability to operate a summer camp and supervise counselors; strong communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Hiring Rate is $28,728 to $30,164 with a 5% increase after completion of a 6 month probationary period.
